Why Do We Sing and What Do We Sing?
Worship Services at Grace Covenant Church
Why Do We Sing?
We sing primarily because God has commanded us to do so (Col. 3:16; Eph. 5:19), but also because we were created in God's image (Gen. 1:27) and He is a God who sings (Zeph. 3:17; Heb. 2:12). Singing in church is a time for believers to join together and lift up their voices and worship God. Our hope is that the songs we sing each Sunday will help our church to grasp and remember the truths of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

What Do We Sing?
At Grace Covenant we believe in preaching and singing the gospel of Jesus Christ. We strive to sing songs that are from trustworthy sources, that have biblically sound lyrics, and that have singable melodies. We sing songs that display God's holiness, reveal man's sinfulness, and proclaim Christ's amazing love. Within these guidelines, we sing a variety of old hymns, new hymns, and contemporary worship songs.
