How it all started...
In June 1988, a group of believers came together to organize the congregation known as Grace Covenant Church. With emphases on personal faith in Jesus Christ and the authoritative place of the Bible in their lives, they desired to create a forum where these emphases could be freely and faithfully taught to their children and to their friends and associates.
Their first formal worship service was in a shopping center storefront. Tom Halford was called as pastor. During the next six months the constitution was written and approved, and the first elders were selected.
In 1993, Pastor Tom was called to a discipling ministry to persons in training for career ministry.
